Very unusual strong beer which is difficult to find in the UK, but is reasonably common in its native France.
It has a distinctive peaty, smokey flavour, thanks to the use of ScotchWhisky ingredients in its brewing!

Anchor Steam Beer
Brewed in San Francisco, Anchor Steam can be found in the UK and it is worth the search.
"Excellent brew, but not brewed with steam. The origin of its name is from the very active fermentation of lager yeast at room temperature. Thus when the wooden kegs were tapped in the old days, the initial opening resulted in "steam".
