Previously known as Thai Siam, this small restaurant in Aberdeen’s historic heart has been renamed Siam Cottage. The menu offers a range of Thai food plus a full page of Thai street food, with Chinese favourites for those perhaps wary of Thai spice.
The starters are tempting with a range of wonderful soups, including the distinctive hot and sour specialities. Our party were all delighted with their main course choice and that included diners with a craving for fiery heat and some who wanted no burn at all. Both tastes were well catered for. Portion sizes were just right for us and we had no room for deserts, the choices of which are fairly limited.
The service was friendly and very efficient and the price very reasonable. I think we have found a new favourite restaurant!
